EKU puts New Hampshire on its SARA list without restrictions, and the two licensure tables that matter here, MSN and RN to BSN, show Meets Requirements, so any EKU online nursing program is available to a New Hampshire nurse. The state's paperwork for out-of-state schools targets pre-licensure students, and the Board's education office treats post-licensure programs as outside its reach.

EKU prints no New Hampshire note, which leaves the licensure tables and the SARA list to speak for the state. Here is how they read.

Only the DNP row lacks a licensure result. The post-master's Organizational Leadership DNP does not lead to a license, so no table exists for it, and the unrestricted SARA listing is what opens it to New Hampshire nurses. With no campus visits in any of these programs, your clinical work happens where you live.
How New Hampshire handles schools from other states
New Hampshire writes its process down in Nur 602.15(j), for approved pre-licensure programs from other states that use New Hampshire facilities. Before placements begin, that school notifies the Board of its plans and allows six weeks' notice for each rotation. Its paperwork runs from a Form A petition each year down to a Part B form for each rotation and an agreement signed by each preceptor.
EKU's online students already hold RN licenses. The state's licensing office (OPLC) says programs that start from an RN license, including RN to BSN and RN to MSN, fall outside Board regulation, though it does not mention graduate NP programs by name. One more wrinkle: the Cornell LII version of the rule carries a January 23, 2026 end date, and whether it was readopted is unconfirmed. Let EKU tell you how it treats a New Hampshire site.
Full practice NPs and the state's health systems
AANP places New Hampshire in its full practice group. An experienced family or psychiatric NP with an independent practice can be a natural fit for your EKU course; EKU's view of who qualifies is laid out under preceptor requirements.
Dartmouth Health, the parent of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, is the best-known name. Others include Catholic Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare hospital; Concord Hospital's health system; and Elliot Health System plus Southern New Hampshire Health, whose boards proposed in July 2025 to dissolve their shared SolutionHealth system. Population gathers in the Manchester-Nashua metro, around Concord and in the slice of greater Boston that crosses the state line. Listing a system here says nothing about ties to EKU.
Licensing for a New Hampshire clinical
New Hampshire has taken part in the Nurse Licensure Compact since January 19, 2018. If this is your home state, your New Hampshire multistate license also works for RN practice in neighboring compact states such as Maine and Vermont. Massachusetts is the exception nearby: it has passed the compact but will not honor out-of-state multistate licenses until its Board finishes implementation, so see the Massachusetts guide before planning a site there.
On EKU's end, all of your licenses need to be unencumbered, and admission brought Nursys e-Notify enrollment under the 2021-22 handbook, the latest EKU posted; see the license guide. The APRN Compact has no New Hampshire enactment.

Does EKU accept New Hampshire students into the post-MSN PMHNP certificate?
Yes. The certificates fall under EKU's MSN licensure table, where New Hampshire shows Meets Requirements with no state note attached. The certificate runs through the MSN's clinical courses, so plan a psychiatric-mental health preceptor for NSC 800 and the NSC 886 internship. See the post-MSN PMHNP certificate.
Does New Hampshire's out-of-state paperwork cover EKU's RN to BSN?
The Board's own pages point away from it: its licensing office groups RN to BSN with the post-licensure programs it does not regulate, and the filing rule speaks to pre-licensure schools. EKU has also said RN to BSN students may base their capstone clinical project at the place they already work. Confirm the current setup with EKU; see the RN to BSN clinical.
What does EKU need from my New Hampshire preceptor?
Every preceptor and site passes through EKU's review and approval. EKU's latest posted MSN handbook, from 2021-22, listed the clinical contract and preceptor information form among the documents students updated before each term's clinicals, next to any requirements the site set. Can I train in Vermont or Maine while living in New Hampshire?
Licensing is not the obstacle: all three states are compact members, so your home multistate license reaches the other two. Whether EKU is comfortable with a site across a state line is something its public pages leave open, so raise it with your faculty early; EKU also wants the physical location of any clinical outside Kentucky reported.
